**Bob Baldwin – CEO & Founder**
Bob Baldwin began working at age 15 to help support his family after his father became ill—an early experience that shaped his work ethic and leadership philosophy. He earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Communications from Geneva College (Beaver Falls, PA), where he developed strong foundations in accounting, media, and broadcasting. While still in college, Baldwin interned with respected New York radio personalities Pat Prescott (WLIB) and Frankie Crocker (WBLS), launching a part-time broadcasting career that paralleled the early development of his recording career at Atlantic Jazz under the leadership of Sylvia Rhone.
Alongside releasing his first six albums, Baldwin built significant corporate experience, including three years in sales at MCI and fourteen years in Accounts Receivable at Sprint. In 1997, he founded City Sketches, Inc., initially as a music production company. CSI later expanded into radio programming and syndication, contributing to stations including WJSJ (Jacksonville), KJAZ (Bermuda), and WCLK (Atlanta). In October 2008, Baldwin launched *The NewUrbanJazz Lounge*, which began as a one-hour program on WJZZ (Radio-One) in Atlanta and has since expanded to multiple stations across the South and Northeast.
As Executive Producer, Baldwin has overseen major live events and festivals including the Brazilian-American Jazz Festival, the Croton Point Park Jazz Festival, the Wednesday WindDown Jazz Festival, and the Trumpets Jazz Series. In 2010, he produced *NewUrbanJazz @ The Arts xChange* in White Plains, hosted in partnership with one of New York State’s largest arts councils. CSI has also produced signature events such as the NewUrbanJazz Party in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and curated performances at Joe’s Pub in New York City.
